Cape Vincent Joint Fire District in Cape Vincent, New York

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Fire Commissioners, the annual election of the qualified voters of the Cape Vincent Joint Fire District in Cape Vincent, County of Jefferson, State of New York, will be held at 241 East Broadway Street on December 9, 2025 between the hours of 6pm and 9pm for the purpose of electing one (1) fire district commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing on the first day of January, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2030.

All persons registered to vote in the district and residing in the district for at least thirty days prior to the day of the vote may vote in such annual election.

 

Fire District Commissioners Vacancy

The Cape Vincent Joint Fire District will be accepting letters of intent for those wishing to run for District Commissioner.  Letters of intent can be given to the District Secretary, Kasey Pitkin, pitkcl@gmail.com.  Letters of intent will be accepted until November 24, 2025.

Planning Board Vacancy

The Town of Cape Vincent is looking for persons interested in serving as a member of the Planning Board.  Training is mandatory.  Interested persons should send in a letter of interest to the Cape Vincent Town Clerk, PO Box 915, Cape Vincent NY 13618; email to mbouchard@townofcapevincent.org; or in person 1964 NYS Rt 12E, Cape Vincent by October 31, 2025.

 

Annual Quality Drinking Water Report

Legal Notice

The Town of Cape Vincent Water Districts 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 Annual Quality Water Reports for the year 2024 has been finalized.  This report contains information regarding drinking water.  The report will be posted on the town’s website, www.townofcapevincent.org.  Copies are available in the Supervisor’s Office, 1964 NYS Rt 12E, during regular business hours.
